Devotions: Week of July 13
Blessings on this beautiful summer morning in Seattle, and please forgive me for sending the devotions for this week to you so late in the morning.
Each week this summer the readings with the devotions will come from one author. This week we begin to read through the gospel of Mark (whose author is traditionally John Mark, a relative of Peter) and the spiritual reflections are from Henri Nouwen.
It was a joy to gather and pray with the 2 dozen or so folks who "popped up" on the front lawn of our church building Sunday evening. And it is a joy to know that my own daily prayers are joined with yours as we journey together in Jesus' way.
